spring is here! the rain has stopped, there’s blossom on the trees, the bees are bumbling and the birds are singing. the sun is even shining!!
days like this make me happy! which is why spring is my favourite season.

it’s nice to just indulge in a little ME time, right?
i’m not very good at this – i always have to be doing something with a purpose, otherwise the guilt just eats away at me. but, yesterday, with the rain pouring down, and the plumber having gone AWOL, and unable to get on with anything else until the AWOL plumber had returned… well, i decided to sit under a blanket with a cup of tea and a good film and do something just for fun.
thank gawd i just happened to have a (special purple edition!) caroline rose colouring in book handy!
10 pages of beautiful illustrations which were such fun to colour in – i even managed to stay inside the lines! (mostly.)
i would have loved it if i could have done more of the same today, unfortunately the plumber turned up and spoiled all my fun :(
but! it was great while it lasted, and very therapeutic.
