now, i don’t often buy myself anything in the way of small decorative items, but my magpie eye is always on the lookout.
and the other day, i came across the coolest shop. selling the most beautifully made items. and i just knew i was going to have to buy something!
and then i spotted this:

now what could be more perfect for the girl who gets up everyday hoping that it’s raining? indeed, nothing.
i had to have it. had to! so i bought it. and now it is mine!
and i couldn’t be happier because it is lovely – super quality fabrics and craftspersonship, fast delivery, nicely packaged, and a free lollipop too!

omg you guys! wow! the sun has just appeared for the first time in over a week!
now don’t get me wrong, i love stormy dark grey skies and rain, but when it is just…flat grey skies and GLOOM, well, it starts to wear you down after a while. mostly because i can’t see to do anything. and everything i want to do requires a little bit of good natural daylight, so the last week and a half has been a creatively crap one for me – despite being awesomely cool*, i am not so awesomely cool that i have LAZER BEAMS shooting out of my eyes to see by! not yet, anyway.

so, due to the kak weather and ever present gloom, i haven’t been up to much. i’m waiting for just a tiny bit of good weather so i can get out in the garden, too - it needs some serious sorting out after the harsh winter we just had.
plus also, i’ll need to prepare the veg patch – i have potatoes chitting quietly away to themselves.
lots and lots of ‘em.
yup… i think we’re gonna be okay for potatoes.
