time
i think i spent the entire year last year saying “i don’t know where the week went!” / “i don’t know where the month has gone?” / “this year has gone by so quickly!” – and, at the beginning of this year, i was determined to try and get more out of my time in 2012. use it wisely, do more stuff, achieve things, don’t just let it slip by, etc. etc.
well, i can’t believe it’s march already! and, i don’t know where the last week has gone?
i don’t feel like i’ve achieved anything per se, but i suppose i have done a few things.
finished stripping the wallpaper in the lounge. the walls look pretty grim, but it’s better than staring at red, gold and cream patterned paper! next to go will be the luxurious bright turquoise carpet. what a tragically sad day that will be!
the mister and i went on a road trip to ikea, and both came home with massive migraines. and candles. and not a lot else :\
the door i started painting before christmas is finally finished (!) and i’ve made a start on scraping back the walls and woodwork in the hall. progress, as always, is slow… but it’s moving on.
i swear we will get this house finished one day… (probably just in time to move!)
in amongst the house renovations i’ve been trying to get on with some new drawings… mothers day cards can be found in the shop here! <- there.
to be honest, though, i find it pretty difficult doing 2 things at once – i look forward to a time when the decorating and building work is finished, and i can concentrate solely on my business!
(maybe 2020? if i use my time wisely?)

i did indeed mean 2012! see, whats been happening is, i keep calling it “2011″ – and so i keep trying to correct myself by adding a +1.
in this case, i have accidentally got it RIGHT for a change, ie, thinking its 2012 – and my brain has helpfully added a +1 regardless.
i have edited it so its right now. i think. thank you for your comment! one day i will get the hang of it? (2013 maybe?)
luckily it is only March 2009 and we have plenty of time for … whatever it is we pretend to do. I think you need to move a bit east and a bit south (don’t tell your mutha I said so – but you really really REALLY do! – or maybe west and a bit south – like south of France – to our villa … ahhhhh I love it there!
shoot – can you not publish that ^^^^^ cos I got my directions completely backwards …sigh .. I am such a stuff up and am going to shoot myself now.
